Clara Schubilske is a violinist in the Grand Rapids Symphony. In the two years since she moved to Grand Rapids she has enjoyed chamber music collaborations with the Meijer Gardens Sunday Strings series, the Park Church resident string quartet and at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.She has been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend festivals including the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, New York String Orchestra Seminar, Music Academy of the West, Orford Music Academy, and the Zodiac Music Festival in France, where her clarinet trio won the chamber music award. She is also a substitute violinist with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra. Clara studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Professor Simon James for her masters degree and at Northwestern University with Professor Blair Milton for her undergraduate degree.
