Sandra Maytan · mezzo-soprano

A young Mezzo Soprano with a 'riveting voice' Conductor Phil Baumann, LaPorte Herald), 'Sandra Maytan has been given a magnetic stage presence' (Umea Post, Sweden) and has been lauded in this year's Early Music America fall issue as 'Most striking was the rich and generous mezzo of' Sandra Maytan for her appearance at the Boston early Music Festival. She currently teaches as an adjunct professor at Grand Valley State University, MI. Born and raised in Germany, Sandra studied voice with Wolfgang Holzmair, Austria, Prof. Patricia Stiles at Bloomington IU, Prof. Tracy Watson, at Roosevelt University, Chicago and Nicholas Loren, Holland.

Sandra Maytan was a featured soloist at the Kronberg Summer Festival, Germany, and the Allegro Vivo Summer Festival in Austria and has appeared as a soloist and recitalist in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Sweden, England and the United States.
