Stephanie Hovnanian

Stephanie Hovnanian · Clarinet

Stephanie Hovnanian lives in Grand Rapids, MI. She has been a member of the West Shore Symphony Orchestra in Muskegon since 2006. She also performs regularly with the Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Kalamazoo Symphonies. In 2006 she completed a three year fellowship with the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas. Stephanie has also participated in many summer music festivals, including Sun Valley, Round Top, Aspen, Banff, and Heidelberg. Stephanie has a Masters of Music from DePaul University, where she studied with Larry Combs. While working on her Masters degree she also played with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for 3 seasons. Her Bachelor of Music was received from Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Kenneth Grant.
