Kelly Estes · piano

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, pianist Kelly Estes currently lives in Grand Rapids and enjoys an active collaborative piano career. Estes performs in the Grand Rapids Symphony, the Holland Chorale, at Grand Valley State University, and with a variety of musicians across Michigan. Ms. Estes completed her B.M and M.M. degrees in piano performance at Ball State University, where she studied with Dr. Raymond Kilburn. As a winner of the BSU Undergraduate Concerto Competition, Estes performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Ball State Symphony Orchestra in 2008. During her time at Ball State, Estes held a full graduate assistantship in musical theater and choral accompanying, and was awarded an Undergraduate Honors Fellowship for creating a group piano program for adult students. In March 2011, Ms. Estes performed in Carnegie Hall with the Holland Chorale. For the past two summers, she studied with pianist Norman Krieger at the Brevard Music Center.
