Celebrating nearly thirty years of concertizing, Aebersold and Neiweemhave been heard in recital in many cities internationally, including NewYork, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Santa Fe, Vienna, Rome and Florence, andOdessa, Ukraine. The duo’s orchestral appearances include the ChicagoPhilharmonic and the Vienna Tonkünstler. Aebersold and Neiweem have been heard on RAI-TV Italy, PBS, and are frequent performers on WFMT Radio in Chicago. Theyare founders and directors of the award winning Chicago Duo Piano Festival,and have commissioned significant new works for the piano duo. The duo’srecordings are available on the Summit label. Their editions of four hand musichave been published by Dover, International.

Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem met in Italy in 1970 as young soloperformers. They were married in 1973 and have devoted themselves to theexclusive study of the duo repertoire since 1981. They are currently artists inresidence at the Music Institute of Chicago
