Andrew Smith · cello

Cellist Andrew Smith has performed throughout the United States, and in Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Denmark, Canada, and Ukraine, as well as Peru and Brazil. During summers he performs in several music festivals, including the Festival Internacional de Deiá, in Majorca, Spain, and Festival Mozaic in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is Principal Cellist of The Las Vegas Philharmonic, and an Associate Professor at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Mr. Smith has a DMA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a MM from The Mannes College of Music in New York, and a BM from The Hartt College of Music in Hartford, CT. He has studied cello with Timothy Eddy, Bernard Greenhouse, Leslie Parnas, Ron Leonard, and Geoffrey Rutkowski.
